Get Support

What to Expect

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step. Here is what you can expect when you connect with Victim Services.

Getting Started

After a Referral

Whether you were referred by police, a community partner, or reached out yourself, the process is the same: we listen, help you understand your options, and support you in making choices that are right for you.

01

Your Referral Is Reviewed

Referral information is received securely and reviewed by authorized GVPVS staff.

02

We Contact You

A member of our team reaches out to introduce themselves, listen to what you are going through, and talk about what may help.

03

You Choose Your Support

Our approach is based on empowerment through information, options and alternatives, so you can make well-informed choices on your own path to recovery.

Staying in Touch

How GVPVS Contacts You

You are welcome to call us at 250-995-7351. If you leave a message with a contact number, we will call you back at our earliest opportunity. Our office is open Monday to Sunday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
